I just wanted to give my cute husband a little praise this Holiday season. I truly do have the best husband in the whole world! I have been working like crazy these past couple of weeks to get ready for the Unique Chic Boutique. The other night I got in bed at 3:30 in the morning. Skylar just seems to know when I need a break. He got up with kids in the morning and went to work late so I could catch up on my sleep. I'm sure all of you other mothers would agree that it is no fun at all to chase after two kids when you are running on three hours of sleep! And a couple of months ago Sky showed up after work with a hundred dollar bill and told me to go buy myself something fun! It is all these little things (that are so monumental in my eyes) that keep me going every day. I couldn't have asked for a better person to spend eternity with.
Skylar is also a very hard worker. He has basically torn our little condo down to the 2 x 4's and rebuilt it. He saved us tons of money and most all saved our lungs from smokey #1, #2, & #3 next door. Thanks to Kevin and Julie for teaching him how to be such a hard worker and to be able to do things himself (like fixing cars and rebuilding houses)! I also thank him for working so hard, so that I can stay home with our two little angels. It is a heavy load to be responsible for three other lives besides your own, and I am grateful he takes such pride in doing so.
And most importantly, Skylar is an amazing dad! He is so good with our kids. They love him so much. My favorite thing is to watch him play with Braylee and Tyson. He has a special connection with both of them. I didn't think it was possible to love three people so much. Thanks for all you do for us Sky. I love you!
Braylee has been begging to wear her Cinderella dress everyday for the past month. Finally it's here! As you can tell by the smile on her face that she is loving every minute of it. She actually got the hang of Halloween this year, but we could only go to the houses that didn't have any scary music or scary decorations. Tyson was another story. I got a few pictures of him smiling in his pumpkin costume, but he was not a happy camper. He hated his costume. Oh well, maybe next year!
We had a Halloween party at Dyreng's on Monday. I don't know if you can see Michelle's pumpkin. It was very cleaver. She carved a Mike Wazouski (Sorry I have no idea how to spell that) from Monsters Inc. It is the one right in the middle. We should have taken a picture with the lights out so you could see them better. Of course Braylee's is a kitty. Did you expect anything else?
