Halloween Overload!

I haven't updated in quite a while so here an overload of all of our Halloween activities! Enjoy!

Pumpkin patch with Grandma Stephie (Sorry Grandma we didn't get you in any pictures)

Braylee had a Halloween party at preschool. They ate pumpkin pancakes, painted faces and went trick or treating. She had a blast.

Grandma Julie gave each of the kids a pumpkin to paint, but Tyson was having too much fun throwing it to care about the painting.

Can you believe my husband! I wouldn't even know where to begin carving something like this and he just prints off a picture and goes to town. He is totally in love with the new Ford Raptor and it is the highest priority on his wish list. Someday, it will be his:)



HALLOWEEN!

I was totally amazed how long Tyson left the costume on his head!

We tried to dye Braylee's hair black, it was super cute until we stepped foot outside into the buckets of rain that were being dumped all over the trick-or-treaters!

We did a Trunk-or-Treat with our neighbors. Don't you love our trunk! It had a strobe light and all! Mental note for next year...there are way more that 150 kids, bring more candy!!!!

After the Trunk-or-Treat we went trick-or-treating with our neighbors. This is one of Braylee's favorite people, Ashlyn. Ashlyn was dressed up light Daphnie from Scoobie Doo. She looked just like her. They were so cute holding hands everywhere they went! It was a nice set up, Tanya and I followed in the car with the babies while Ben and Skylar took the older kids around the neighborhood!

Then our last stop was Grandma and Grandpa Harris'

I got 2 good pics at their house cause the kids were so NOT happy by this point in the evening. They were exhausted, but we had yummy chili, bread sticks and pumpkin pie! I think its safe to say Halloween was a success:) Hope you didn't get bored with the excess amount of pictures!

BYU!!!

This year we decided it would be fun to get season tickets to the BYU games. I know what you are all thinking...we too know that they have only won one game this year, but we still love 'em!!!! Hopefully after Jake Heaps figures his game out they will be unstoppable. We have 8 tickets between the two families, so there is never a dull moment (mostly with the people sitting around us. Why a grown man would feel the need to wear wool socks in 90 degree weather, and then take is shoes off right next to me, I will never know!)

Have you ever seen a cuter cheer leader? She totally wants to be one of the BYU cheerleaders when she grows up, if she doesn't make it into the band first! At the end of the game we found the band playing in the street and she was amazed! The video at the end of this post is of her dancing to the BYU Band.

Lava!

We headed to Idaho for Labor Day. The kids had a blast, and so did we. It was really nice to have some cooler weather. I was loving the sweat shirts.

Must explain: Skylar taught Braylee how to stand on her head against the wall (which I failed to get a picture of), and Tyson wanted to join in the fun. So, Braylee would take a turn and stand on her head and then Tyson would run over to the wall and just stand there with the biggest grin until we all applauded for him. Love Him!!!

Grandma Renee bought a princess chair for Braylee to have up at Lava and guess who wouldn't let anyone else sit in it?:)

Tyson was exhausted after a long day of playing so Sky took him on a ride. It takes talent to drive a 4-wheeler with one hand!

Thanks Grandma's and Grandpa's we all had a great time!

First Day!

This day couldn't come soon enough for Braylee. She had been asking me for 6 months when she is going to go to school. Isn't her outfit so cute? Thanks Grandma Stephie! Braylee has been anticipating this for a long time and was very disappointed when she found out that she didn't get to ride the bus and eat lunch at school.

Of course little brother needed a turn!

Braylee I can't believe you are old enough to go to school. You have been by my side for 4 and 1/2 years, and while I am excited for you to start this new adventure, I am going to miss your smile while you are gone:)

Lake Powell Part 1

My camera died about 3 days into our trip so I have to go steal some of Kevin and Julie's pics, but here are the cutest pictures that I got...

This was so funny. Tyson was not in the mood to be on the boat or something and everytime
Grandpa would start the motor, Tyson would cover his ears. And notice his battle wound on his cheek. He had a run in with the carpet about 20 minutes after we finally made it to Lake Powell.

And the arriving is a whole story in itself. Skylar had to drop off a garbage truck (yes a garbage truck), in Moab, on our way to LP. So Connor and he jumped in the truck and bounced all the way to Moab. We dropped it off and then went to eat. At the restaurant, we asked the waiter what was the best way to LP and he gave us two options. One was quicker and one was more scenic. Of course we took the scenic route. Little did we know it was the MUCH longer route. It ended up taking us 11 hours (yes thats right 11 hours) to finally get to LP. The kids were troopers. They only complained a little. Althought I don't know if Connor would make that trip with us again:)

This is Lindsay and Braylee at our annual Luau. Lindsay came with her dad, who is Michelle's friend. Braylee followed her everywhere. Are they cute or what?

This is Grandpa's new toy, the EZ ski! Braylee is still quite freaked out about skiing, so this was major progress for her to even get on it. We did end up pulling her in a little circle with the boat, but she didn't like that so much. Maybe next year!

Connor's first time up on a slolam ski! He popped right up on his second try. I think it took me an entire summer of Dave Harris pulling Krista and me around to finally get it! Not fair.

And this is the biggest fish that was caught at Lake Powell, and Connor's biggest fish ever!

More to come on Lake Powell as soon as I get around to getting the pics off the Dyreng's computer. We took family pictures on the rocks at LP, so get excited to see those!

I know, I know its been a while!

We have been super busy this summer, and what can I say...I just haven't been a good blogger lately. I will try and post all of the things that have been going on in our lives in sequential order, so some of these pics are from quite a while ago.

A couple of weeks ago I crashed Brock and Whit's Family night and went hiking with them up Adam's Canyon. It was quite a work out (as you will see from Brock's shirt!)

This is where we stopped cause Cohen was hungry. It was gorgeous!

Have you ever seen a cuter little boy? (Besides my little guy of course:) ha ha) He was smiling on the whole hike until he decide he was ready for some food.

Brock had an extra work out from carrying Cohen in the carrier!

We are hoping to hike Mount Timpanogos in the fall, but haven't kept up on our "1 hike a week" goal, so we will see if we actually make it:)

Fun in the Sun

We are so glad the heat is finally here! We spend just about every day in the sun. On Mondays we usually end up at Bowden's pool! (Thanks Lynette for letting us crash your party) We are so happy that Whitnie isn't working anymore cause now mom has a buddy to hang out with at the pool. Now we just need aunt Kenzi to hurry up and get on the "Baby Train" so she can play with us too:)

How cute is that robe? I just want to eat him up!
